Nirmala School, Govindpur, a unit of DSWC provides education to 487 girls children. DSWC got them from leprosy colonies in and around Dhanbad or found living on begging at railway platforms. Few of them are orphaned and some of them have faced abuse. These children are brought first of all to protect them from sexual abuse, many of them face, back in their leprosy colonies, secondly to prevent these girl children from early/child marriage and thirdly to educate them so as to assist them to shape their life and come out of the vices cycle of poverty.

You could be part of this mission. What they need is someone to believe in their dreams and give them an opportunity for a better future. Through DSWC’s Child Sponsorship program, you can be the Ray of Hope in a girl Child’s life. Just Rs 800/- per month and child has better life by having access to Good Health, clean drinking water and proper education.

How to help: You choose whether to provide school uniforms (cloths + shoes + belt + tie), cloths for daily use, school fees, medicines or any other thing, which is required for a girl child
